You probably have heard me talking about Panama many times, I hope I am not sounding like a broken record, but I’ve being wanting to blog about what influences my photography. The place where I grew up is a big part of it. Well, it’s also exciting to share images from my last trip to Panama with you (LOL). If this is the first time you visit my blog here is the story. I am originally from Panama city, Panama. I was born and raised in Panama city. “SI”, my first language is Spanish, hence all the crazy grammar in this blog but it was a dream of mine to come to the U.S to study Fashion Design. I started my college life in Panama attending Florida State University (Did you know there are two FSUs in Panama city? , that’s right Panama city, Panama and Panama city, U.S.A). After my first year in college, I moved to St. Louis, MO and went to Lindenwood University; a little college in the outskirts of St. Louis. After graduating with a Bachelor in Fine Arts (Fashion Design and Retail Merchandising) I had the opportunity to work with a company in St. Charles that allowed me to design ©Harley Davidson novelties and was lucky to work with a photographer in a real photo shoot setting. I LOVED IT! but it wasn’t until I moved to Pittsburgh that I picked up a camera for the first time and I never looked back. I always say things come to us at the right time. I enjoyed going to Fashion School and I truly believe my degree really helps me with my photography but it was meant for me to become a photographer later in life. I cannot imagine being so young, right out of college, and having my own business but hey, that was just me! Like anything else in life, photography is a constant school. Things change from one season to another, you upgrade your equipment and use different/better editing software so my images could slightly change but I always go back to my roots; a very colorful root!!!LOL
I am part of a big family so family is very important to me, I come from a very warm and friendly country, we love to party and we are not afraid to take a few hours to enjoy quality time with our loved ones, we like to dress up to go out or just to go to the supermarket, we have that spicy flavor in our blood and that colorful way of thinking. We speak with an accent “SI” and enjoy being part of other people’s families!!! These are all things that influence my photography and I could not be happier when you decide I am the right photographer for you!!!
Enjoy this colorful post – Happy Tuesday! MORE TO COME…
