It’s been a very crazy 2015 filled with many changes in our lives. We moved to Austin, TX at the beginning of summer and I have been a bit M.I.A for the past couple of months getting things done and starting a new life here in Austin but I hope this 2016 I am able to keep my word and follow my 2016 year resolutions….So, my first 2016 year resolution is to:
1. SHOOT MORE: To start on a good note, I was so lucky to photograph this gorgeous woman for a Trash the Dress session AND make a video for the Bridal Extravaganza Show coming up this January at the Palmer Events Center (Saturday Jan 16 and Sunday 17)…Don’t forget to stop by!!! – Here are some of the images from her session, video is all the way at the end of the blog post….don’t forget to watch it.
2. BLOG MORE: It’s been hard to blog this past year. Moving to a new place and starting from scratch it’s hard and leaving my clients and all their awesome referrals has left me with not a lot of material to share with you but that will change this year. I cannot wait to start photographing weddings and engagements here in Austin and share a different location every blog-post.3. DO MORE TRASH THE DRESS SESSIONS: This session was so much fun and it was such a beautiful experience because Yadee has been married for 7 years and her excitement to wear her wedding dress one more time was contagious. I would love to give to other women this opportunity in the future. We always say I only use my wedding dress once….why not two times?? I have to be honest though…I would not fit in my wedding dress now…I got married 10 years ago but hey….2016 resolution ladies?? And remember “TRASH THE DRESS” doesn’t mean we need to get your dress wet, or dirty or damaged…it just means we will use it again!! 4. BE OUTSIDE MORE: Austin is a beautiful city and there are so many awesome places to share with clients. I cannot wait.5. PHOTOGRAPH MORE PERSONAL STUFF: I have been bad with this. Only picking up my camera for work but there is beauty everywhere we go and I need to see that through my lens and maybe this will bring more of you over to the blog to enjoy the work I do. So, yes more shooting EVERYTHING.To see little snippets of this session, I put together this video while photographing this beautiful portrait session in Mt. Bonnell, follow the link and don’t forget to look us up on Facebook and Instagram.
