Do you remember Brian and Kristin from their engagement session in Schenley Park last year? Time flew by and with it my wait to capture this beautiful couple on one of the most important days of their lives. They were married this past Saturday April 28th at the Pittsburgh Botanical Garden (Phipps). It was a day filled with emotions and beautiful moments. Kristin and Brian met here in Pittsburgh but Brian’s family traveled from Texas to share this special moment with them. It is an honored to have captured their special day. Thank you again for the opportunity, here are just a few of my favorites from the day.
Phipps is certainly an AMAZING place for a wedding.Kristin’s hair and make up was beautifully done at Izzazu in Downtown, Pittsburgh.Kristin…you are SO BEAUTIFUL!Image by my assistant TracyKristin’s bridesmaids got this hanger for her…I LOVE these. I am going to get one that says Mrs. Bon, Mrs. Luis Bon! LOL too long? The view from Kristin’s hotel room at Station Square. The next two images by Tracy. Phipps on a rainy and cold afternoon. This is Kristin’s nephew, such a cute little boy.Kristin’s Dress was gorgeous with such beautiful details and sequence. It fit her like a glove.
Bridesmaids! the are my favorite bunch at a wedding. This was Kristin and Brian’s first choice for their ceremony but it was a little rainy so they moved their ceremony inside! That is one of the great things about Phipps. They always have a backup plan.Kristin’s gorgeous bouquet was made by Ernie, a family friend (see bottom of blog post for contact info). We traveled to India for a few minutes.Brian’s first look at his future wife, priceless. This image is one of my favorites…Kristin’s Dad is so filled with emotions every time I see this image, makes me teary eyed. Not to mention Kristin’s face while looking at her future husband.Look at that groom’s face! So happy to get his ring on!Brian proposed at a winery in California.
My favorite images!!!So bright and colorful, it doesn’t even look like we are in Pittsburgh. The reception tables had names from all the places Kristin and Brian have visited together. This one is my favorite, Puerto Rico (if this is your first time in the blog, my husband is from PR)The party started as soon as they were announced. This family does not waste any time.Even the little ones are great dancers.I have to say, DJ Jason Hitt said something so true and beautiful to announce the father-daughter dance. He said Kristin probably has being planning this moment since she was a little girl but her dad probably started even before she was born.
Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Newsome!!!
Special thanks to my assistant Tracy from Tracy Lyn Photography
