We are constantly evolving. We learn new things, we change our ways, we accept and re-do, we see things from a different perspective, we adjust.

It takes us years to figure out how we want to shoot and edit. I've been doing this for more than 11 years and I never stop learning. There are so many talented photographers out there, I feel I still have such a long way to go to get there.

But the comparison game is a dangerous one because, we connect with people differently. We are a sum of many things, not just beautiful images and we all have "a thing" the client is looking for.

Not going to lie, all you talented people intimidate me but you also inspire me to keep learning, to apply my craft in ways that are different. To create an experience for my client that is fun and something they will not soon forget.

Why a photo-shoot is Self-Care?

Guys, imagine waking up to the sweetest, most meaningful words to your portrait photographer soul. What would those be for you?
For me, those word would mean I not only provided my client with beautiful images but with an uplifting experience.

Paige wrote these words in her blogpost "Why a photoshoot is self-care" to encourage other women to take the time to be themselves and I could not agree with her more.
