The city of Austin offers a variety of amazing locations for your engagement session. There are thousands of options to choose from, which your photographer will be able to help narrow down. Two things you will need to consider, in order to make a decision will be:
A) As a couple, where do you find yourselves spending the most time? Outdoors? Hiking, picniking, enjoying nature? Or are you the couple to go out and enjoy what the city has to offer? Restaurants, bars, urban areas?
B) Are you o.k with PDA or being around people during your engagement session or would you like to have your photos done in a secluded area?
Whether your answer is A or B, we would also like for you to keep in mind that the time of day could also help us narrow down your location. If you are interested in a location that is busy during the day, perhaps you would consider scheduling your session at Sunrise. If you are not early risers, your session would be scheduled at Sunset. No worries.
Here are locations in the Austin (surrounding) areas:
Location: South Congress
Time: Sunset

Location: Zilker Park
Time: Sunrise
This park has a beautiful view of the city. parking is available along the park but if you are not a fan of dogs, this park might not be the location for you as it is a place known for off leash pets.

Location: The Domain
Time: Sunset
The domain is a very busy urban location with tons of photography opportunities. From what I can gather, we can photograph a couple at the domain but not do a big commercial shoot. Nothing that INTERRUPTS the flow of the place or bothers patrons trying to shop. I take my couples to the less busy areas at the domain.
